First affinity deal for Perfect Choice Funeral Plans
Following the relaunch of Perfect Choice Funeral Plans in July 2006, a number of product enhancements have been introduced and now Perfect Choice has secured its first affinity deal with BT.
Under the arrangement, BT staff, retirees and shareholders will be able to request details of Perfect Choice Funeral Plans from NAFD members who are registered plan sellers.
“With Ecclesiastical’s support we have ensured a smooth transition to the new look Perfect Choice Funeral Plans and incorporated improvements, such as an extended range of instalment options, which will benefit both plan holders and NAFD members,” says Marcus Wilkinson, director of NAFD Services Ltd.
“Now our focus is to help Perfect Choice sellers increase their share of the pre-payment funeral plans market and the BT affinity arrangement is the first in a series of initiatives that are being explored to help NAFD members grow this side of their businesses.”
For both new and existing Perfect Choice Funeral Plans returns are guaranteed to reflect increases in the Retail Price Index, while plan values are ring-fenced, so there will always be sufficient funds to pay claims. Administrative support includes free marketing materials, tailored to meet sellers’ requirements, and settlement is typically within three working days of the paperwork being received.
