Foundation Degree in Funeral Services

In conjunction with the National Association of Funeral Directors, the Centre for Death & Society (CDAS) at the University of Bath has developed the Foundation Degree in Funeral Services – a vocational qualification that enables people to study while still in full time employment.

Available as a two-year full time course or three years part time, the Foundation Degree is designed to help funeral professionals gain recognition for their experience and consolidate their existing practical knowledge by learning new, relevant skills. 

Successful Foundation Degree students have the opportunity to progress to an honours degree or further professional qualifications which should help to open up career opportunities.
