NAFD’s Environmental Group publishes guidelines

The NAFD Environmental Advisory Group has been set up to support members by advising on the key environmental issues within the funeral sector.

Now, following approval by the NAFD Executive, the Group has published its guidelines regarding the Association’s approach to setting an example in sustainability and environmental good practice.

Members who wish to use this information as a basis for their own social and environmental statements – which can be extremely useful when tendering for a Local Authority contract – can download it by clicking on the NAFD Enivronmental Policy.

The NAFD Environmental Advisory Group will be holding an open forum for members during Conference in Windsor – at 2.30pm on Friday, May 14 – and welcomes all members who are interested in discussing environmental issues and how they impact on funeral businesses.
